Dyani Robles This past weekend, We Bridge kicked off their first annual expo and music festival in Las Vegas. We Bridge came on the scene with a mission to celebrate Asian artists, culture, and leaders by connecting creative expressions into one collective experience for fans around the country. There were two components to the expo, a convention during the day and a concert at night. The convention was comprised of different activities, artist engagements, food stands, and an art gallery with well known artists creating pieces in real time. It was interesting to see the different components of the expo, there was not a shortage of activities to keep you busy through out the day. During my time at the convention, I enjoyed the photo set operated by The Lounge Booth. They took professional photos of fans giving them the idol treatment as them saw themselves in a different light. I also enjoyed the sign and bracelet making station as it was a catalyst for many fans to gather around and bond with each other. The festival lasted three days with the first two days having concerts at night. The concert was headlined by powerhouse groups, Monsta X and Enhypen. These groups were joined by K-Pop sensations CIX, ONEUS, Bambam, Jessi, Viviz, Kang Daniel, BE’O and Dreamcatcher. The concert opened with a beautiful moment remembering the beloved K-Pop artist Moonbin from the group Astro. Once the tears were dried and the first act hit the stage, the energy in the arena was through the roof. Each group made the most of their set time and had the crowd enjoying the time spent together. It was amazing to see all the different fandoms come together and vibe together. This was an awesome festival to add to my ever growing list of events K-Pop to attend through out the year. I am excited to see how they grow their event in the future, I am sure they will be able to continue bringing amazing experiences to fans from all around.
