[Concert Review] EVNNE Connects with New York Fans During Their First US Tour, “Ride with EVNNE”8/26/2024 Dyani Robles  Credit: @d0516.jpg New York City is known for its symphony of sounds, from the honking of cars to the chatter on the streets. But on August 11th, a new sound resonated through the city—the electrifying performance of seven immensely talented boys who finally met their fans after their debut in 2023. This group was none other than EVNNE, a seven-member South Korean boy band. The lineup includes KEITA, PARK HANBIN, LEE JEONGHYEON, YOO SEUNGEON, JI YUNSEO, MUN JUNGHYUN, and PARK JIHOO, who first captured the public’s attention on the popular K-pop survival show, “BOYS PLANET.” From blocks away, the line of fans waiting to enter the venue was visible, proudly holding the group’s light sticks and other fan-made items. As fans filled the venue, the excitement was palpable. The wait ended when the boys took the stage, performing five tracks from their latest album, *RIDE or DIE.* The energy in the room was electric and unwavering. Since this was not just any tour but a showcase, the boys took the time to engage with the audience, answering fans’ questions. They sang happy birthday, performed choreography from their discography as well as popular songs like “SUPERNOVA” by Aespa and “Walk” by NCT 127, and showcased their powerful vocals in response to fan requests. The group demonstrated exceptional crowd interaction skills. Whenever possible, the members would break out into dance, song, or small conversations with fans, creating a warm and engaging atmosphere that underscored the strong connection they share with their supporters. The word of the night was “Period,” echoing from both the group and the fans countless times. As they concluded the Q&A portion of the show, the boys shared that the most enjoyable part of tour preparation was practicing different choreography elements they believed fans would love. They then delivered a mix of sweet and powerful performances, including the first-ever live renditions of “XO” and “Pretty Thing.” The night ended on a high note, with EVNNE giving fans an encore to cap off an already unforgettable show. The love between EVNNE and their fans, ENNVE, was evident through their interactions. Witnessing this group deliver such a memorable performance so early in their career only reaffirms that their talents know no bounds, and great success surely awaits them in the future.

Known since their debut in 2019 for their captivating performances and charming personalities, the members of AB6IX did not disappoint, delivering an unforgettable evening filled with music, dance, and heartfelt interactions.
The concert began with an electrifying performance of their b-side “TRAVELER” followed by the title track “GRAB ME” from their newest EP, “THE FUTURE IS OURS : FOUND.” The setlist included fan favorites like “RED UP,” “WHISTLE,” and their popular release, “THE ANSWER.” AB6IX fans, also known as ABNEW, cheered with excitement as they heard the group’s newest songs live for the first time. Before the show, The B.E.L.U Lineup had the incredible opportunity to ask the members of AB6IX, Woong, Donghyun, Woojin, and Daehwi about their latest release and their life on tour so far. Donghyun shared that they had already completed six stops on the “Find YOU Fan Concert 2024” tour in North America, and it felt like time was passing by really fast, but they were determined to give their best performance in Austin. When asked about their favorite song, Daehwi expressed that their latest title track, "GRAB ME," was his personal favorite, as he felt it truly represented their group. Woong, on the other hand, favored "ALL NIGHT" because it’s not their typical sound and has a unique, "sexy" vibe. The fans in Austin were vocal about their excitement and admiration for AB6IX. Many ABNEW were either seeing their favorite group for the first time or attending another show, because, let's be honest, one show was simply not enough to fully experience AB6IX’s talent.As the show came to an end, a fan presented Donghyun with a Texas flag signed by many of the attendees. All the members admired this thoughtful fan project, making it the perfect way to close out a show in the capital of Texas! The AB6IX fan concert in Austin was a testament to the group’s hard work and dedication to their craft and to their fans. Their performance, combined with their genuine connection to ABNEW, made for a night that will be remembered for years to come. The “Find YOU Fan Concert 2024,” was a success, and we are eager to see what projects and releases AB6IX has planned for the second half of 2024! Jennifer Alvarado  Credit: Jen.photoss After a little road trip from Tampa to Miami, Florida we met many excited fans that were lining up outside of the Lauderhill Performing Arts Center a few hours before showtime. The Sunshine State welcomed AB6IX for the first time as they brought a thrilling and exciting night full of performances for their fans, ABNEW, to remember.
From the moment the lights came down and AB6IX hit the stage, their energy and dance moves flowed throughout the entire stage and theater. Many ABNEW immediately started singing along to “TRAVELER” from their EP Album “THE FUTURE IS OURS : FOUND” that was released in January of this year. Once their second song finished playing, members Woong, Donghyun, Woojin, and Daehwi smiled brightly and began their introductions and stated they were so happy to be performing in Miami. Their setlist included various upbeat songs such as their hits “GRAB ME”, “Complicated” and “THE ANSWER.” As well as slower songs such as “ILY (I LOVE YOU)” and “SHINING STARS” that showed their diverse vocal ranges. Towards the end of the night, members announced the lucky winners for a couple of raffle prizes. This gesture added an extra layer of enthusiasm amongst fans for an already unforgettable night. AB6IX expressed their gratitude in both English and Korean, promising to return to Miami to play their song “CHERRY” along with other fan favorites in the future. As they sang the last song of the night the members gave it their all one last time giving a grand close to the most dynamic, lively and energetic concert.
