Fans Choose the Top 10 K-Pop Debut Songs from the 2000s Until Today

A debut song is the introduction to fans for many if not all K-Pop groups. Having an impactful debut can gain a group an enormous amount of fans and popularity. We asked fans to tell us which debut song(s) were their personal favorite through out the years and many of the responses contained similar answers. This list contains songs from the early 2000s as well as songs that came out months ago. It is interesting to see the impact of some of these songs which keeps them relevant in these types of discussions, passing the test of time.

10. Le Sserafim - “Fearless” (2023)

Five member girl group LE SSERAFIM came on the scene with their sultry debut song “Fearless” capturing the hearts of fans all around the world. This song had the majority of TikTok in a chokehold with thousands of dance videos posted using the song.

9. SuperM - “Jopping” (2019)

Fans were not able to go to any K-Pop event in 2019 without hearing this song. This super group from SM came on the scene with one of the most played songs of the year. To this day, fans will recite Mark Lee’s iconic verse word for word.

8. NewJeans - “Attention” (2022)

Hybe’s latest girl group, NewJeans, describes their music style as “open and free” as well as “Songs you will never get tired of listening to”. Their description could not be more spot on, in addition to other songs on this list, “Attention” took social media platforms by storm with its laidback vibe.

Fresh from their emotional survival show, 11 member group, Wanna One, released “Energetic” which is fun and playful summer song.

RIIZE is one of the hottest boy groups out right now, they can be seen interacting with fans on social media. This group came on the scene and captured fans attention with their powerful song “Siren”. Building off of that excitement, RIIZE took over the scene with their song “Get a Guitar” which utilizes funky beats and harmonies.

2. NCT u - “The 7th Sense” (2016)

NCT came on the scene with a jaw dropping debut that is still talked about to this day. This was a perfect introdutction to who exactly NCT was, not only as a unit, but the entire group. From the choreography to the vocals, this unit had gained the attention of many people landing this song at number two on our list.

There is no way that “replay” would not be number one on any list on the topic of debuts. It has been over 10 years since this debut and it has not lost an ounce of its popularity. The smooth beats and amazing vocals come together to give fans something that can only be described as greatness.
